  Lone Mountain Ranch is absolutely majestic; a tranquil getaway nestled in the foothills of the grand Rocky Mountain range. I spent five wonderful evenings in Meadowlark Cabin, surrendering to the warmth of a crackling wood-burning stove, the peace of February snowfall, and the beauty of an elegantly designed and furnished cabin.
  
  The staff at LMR is second to none, and I have never felt so at home so far away from home. The team is warm, friendly, thoughtful, and so great to be around; hosts in the truest sense of the word.
  
  The recently re-opened Horn and Cantle restaurant boasts a highly curated menu filled with local specialties that you'll long for well after you leave. My compliments to the chef and staff! Not to be outdone, the adjacent saloon hosts unique personalities and fantastic twists on classic cocktails -- the Lone Mule and the Planer are my favorites.
  
  Without revealing too much, I *highly* recommend the sleigh ride dinner. It is an unforgettable, nostalgic experience and one that will enchant every LMR guest.

  I consider lone mountain ranch my home away from home. I've loved coming year after year and enjoying the great food and sleigh rides. My most dear memory has to be relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of skiing with my family. Bummer. I guess the hot tub only exists deep down in my heart now. Maybe one day someone will provide for future generations of hot tub memories forever. R.I.P tubby. You will be missed.

  This place is breathtakingly gorgeous. The staff is courteous, gracious and amazing. The food is wonderful. The sleigh ride should not be missed. The musicians are authentic and talented. A special place that should be on everyone's bucket list.
